This was my view this morning looking from the 15th hole at Lopesan Meloneras Golf Course to the small port of Pasito Blanco. It is the end of October and the weather is a lovely 25 degrees. Many golfers choose Portugal or the Costa del Sol for their Winter golfing holiday but Gran Canaria is starting to be discovered as a real gem for all year round golf.
It hardly ever rains here, the climate is one of the most temperate in the world and it is only 4-5 hours traveling time from Europe. When I came here 26 years ago there were only 2 golf courses, now we have 7 within a 45 minute radius.
